Credit score requirements vary by product. In general, the State Farm® Visa Credit Card is for established credit with a credit score in the good to excellent range.

A credit card allows you to borrow money, with the intention you’ll pay back the lender (your bank) later. While it sounds simple, credit can get complex. Credit cards offer you a line of credit that can be used to make purchases, balance transfers and/or cash advances and requiring that you pay back the loan amount in the future. When using a credit card, you will need to make at least the minimum payment every month by the due date on the balance. If the full balance for purchases is not paid off, interest charges will be applied. Interest charges will be applied from the date of the transaction for balance transfers and/or cash advances.

One-time $150 bonus will be awarded for redemption when you are approved for a new State Farm Premier Cash Rewards card and after eligible net purchases totaling $500 or more are made within 90 days from account opening. Net purchases are purchases minus credits and returns. Cash back is not earned for Advances (including wire transfers, travelers checks, money orders, foreign cash transactions, betting transactions, lottery tickets and ATM disbursements), Convenience Checks, Balance Transfers, and Fees, credit insurance charges, transactions to fund certain prepaid card products, U.S. Mint purchases, or transactions to purchase cash convertible items. Please allow 6-8 weeks after you have met the spend requirement for your bonus to be credited to your rewards balance. Existing and previous State Farm Premier Cash Rewards accounts do not qualify for this one-time bonus. This offer may not be combined with any other bonus offer.   2. Cash back is only earned on eligible Net Purchases. Net Purchases are Purchases minus credits and returns. You will earn 3% cash back for every $1 of the first $4,000 spent annually on Purchases classified as insurance, starting with your January statement and 1% cash back after that. “Annually” is defined as the period of time starting with your January statement (which may include transactions made in December) and running through your December statement (which may not include all transactions made in December). You will earn 2% cash back for every $1 spent on Purchases at merchants classified as gas stations, electric vehicle charging stations, restaurants, fast-food restaurants, bars, grocery stores, food delivery services and drug stores. You will earn 1% cash back for every $1 on all other eligible Purchases. Purchases at or delivery from discount/retail stores that sell groceries may not qualify for the grocery store or grocery delivery category. Each merchant’s business is identified by a category code established by Visa. A Purchase will not earn cash back if the category code applied to a merchant is in a category that is not eligible for cash back earning. We do not determine the category codes applied to merchants’ businesses and reserve the right to determine which Purchases qualify for additional cash back. Not all transactions are considered to be Purchases and eligible to earn rewards, such as transactions posting as Convenience Checks; Balance Transfers; Advances (including ATM withdrawals, wire transfers, traveler's checks, money orders, foreign cash transactions, betting transactions, and lottery tickets); interest charges and fees; credit insurance premiums; and transactions to  fund certain prepaid card products, (ii) buy currency from the U.S. Mint, or (iii) buy cash convertible items.
